The ground has ample car parking and is priced at £3.00.

There is also motorcycle, and scooter areas allocated.

COACH PARKING

Coaches can park in Madden Rd.

If you require a taxi at the end of the matches then Plymouth Albion recommends City Cabs on 01752 242424.

DIRECTIONS BY CAR

•Approach Plymouth along the A38 until you reach the Manadon intersection which is signposted for the A386, City Centre.

•Follow the A386 towards the City Centre. Follow signs for City Centre A386.  At the North Cross roundabout take the third turning onto the A374 Western Approach.

•At the bottom of the Western Approach follow the road round onto Union Street A374.

•Follow the road up Devonport Hill continuing onto Cumberland Rd and look for the yellow AA signs indicating a right turn (into Madden Road) for Brickfields Recreation Ground.

TRAINS

Plymouth city train station is located within a short taxi ride to Plymouth Albion ground.

Rail services from the city are now operated by three companies.

There is a frequent service throughout the day to London Paddington as well as cross-country services to major cities in the Midlands, the North of England and Scotland.

BUS

FROM THE CITY CENTRE the best bus to catch is 21/21A, which is every 10 minutes from Bus Stop A1, outside St Andrews Church at the top of Royal Parade on the Guild Hall side. The buses are branded ‘Spark’ and are Silver and Red.

FROM OUTSIDE THE CITY CENTRE it’s better to catch a bus into the City Centre and then changing bus, the best ticket to buy is a Dayrider ticket, allowing unlimited travel all day on multiple services.

The other main services that come directly from other parts of the city to Albion are:

Service 5/5A   Plymstock – City Centre – Albion     Saltash – Albion

Service 21/21A  Plympton – City Centre – Albion    Barne Barton – St Budeaux – Albion

Service 34  Derriford – Stoke – Albion

If travelling direct to and from Albion, then best ticket to buy is a return ticket.

Any child under 16 travelling with an adult (up to 3 children per adult) only pay £1 with the City Bus ‘Add a Kid for a Quid’ offer.
