Charity of the day
The Royal British Legion is honoured to be the chosen charity for the 2018 Army v Navy Rugby Match.
One hundred years on from the Armistice year, The Royal British Legion will be leading the nation in commemorating the memory of the fallen and supporting the future of the living. The 2018 Army v Navy match will provide an opportunity for players and spectators to come together to mark this occasion through celebration and hope. As the nation’s biggest Armed Forces charity, The Legion provide care and support to all members of the Armed Forces community past and present, as well as their families. With its red poppy emblem The Legion also acts as the national custodian of Remembrance, launching its famous Poppy Appeal each Autumn and organising Remembrance activity across the country.
