Army 30 - Navy 17

The Royal Navy, captained by CPOAET Dave Pascoe, played a stirring first half and put the British Army, led by LSgt Matthew Dwyer, under serious pressure to go into the half time break leading 7 - 12.  Army scrum-half, Thomas Chennell, was yellow carded which appeared to galvanise the Army into action and through a period of intense pressure clawed their way back and took the lead in the second half.  It was a day for front row tries with both LCpl Chris Budgen and LA(AH) Ben Priddey scoring tries. Winger, LCpl Semesa Rokoduguni had a day off from his Aviva Premiership duties to play in this match to help his team mates with the Babcock Trophy and hopefully increase his chances of selection by Stuart Lancaster for England's New Zealand Tour. Ben Priddey put in an outstanding performance but it was the Army's fly half, Pte Jack Prasad, who received the Sky Man of the Match.
